could we have a section on which shops are opening - when and where? For instance I am trying to find out where the supermarket/s will be?

You are to be commended. This is a comprehensive list that probably IDAMA would not have.

Aw, thanks guys. Just realized this thread was under recommendations to forum Management. Maybe it can be made a sticky?

In the meantime, I'll move it to General to see if I can get more help in filling in the gaps.

could we please set up two additional boards:

1. Security
2. Pool Lifeguards

I get the sense from the other boards that people have a few issues on these topics that they would like to let out.

Hello everybody,
On May 12th till 15th Dubai Properties is organising a meeting with JBR people ( no clear place proposed yet)
They intend to have maximum 30 people per meeting ( not enough to represent all owners or tennants)
Is it possible to gather as many signatures as possible on a commun request for Beach clubs, gyms and other urgent issue ( windows cleaning, elevatures failure, swimming pools access to none resident, bad smell, noise in sadaf 4 &5, etc.)?
this document could be given at that occasion or posted to them by Internet.

see text below:

The easiest option is that everybody does send the mail to:Mohamed.Binbrek@dubai-properties.ae
see mail I sent this week for information.

Dear Mr. Binbrek,

I want to draw your attention to what is happening at Jumeirah Beach Residence. An area that was promsied to the Jumeirah Beach Community residents is now being turned into a car park. The proposed car park will be terraced e right between the apartments of JBR and the beach. I know you have sold all the apartments at JBR and on a shrt term view, perhaps don't care what happens to JBR now. However, I ure you to consider the longer term consequences of your actions. The land you are turning into a car park is right on the beach. Photos of JBR for years to come will show a black tarmac car park right next to the buildings of JBR. Your marketing photos will be ruined. This will have a long term impact upon the brand of Dubai Properties; a brand that once lost will take much more time and money to regain...

Among other issues:
The beach in from of SADAF is not existing, the GYM floors are not ready and there is no date for them being available, the access to swimming pools are not monitored and are mainly used by people from outside, Elevators are all the time out of work, there is bad smell in the apartments and outside, the quality of the materials used are of very poor quality and sitting in a balcony is not possible due to the noise from compressors outside.

What overseas investors will remember is that DUBAI PROPERTIES is a company that does have no respect for the promises made and the commitments taken.
